why the **** are my brembo blank rotors larger in the rear than the fronts...the fronts are 11inches the rears are a tad over 11.5

rear brakes need to be bigger to stop the spinning of the back tires more...dunno.

the why are the front calipers so much larger than the rears?

my assumption would be that because the Z32 uses a drum in disc ebrake setup, they simply brought the contact area further out to make room for the drum.

i thought usually front rotors should be bigger because when you brake, most of the weight goes to the front which needs faster stopping power.

and yea yuta is right also.

dont worry ron i got ****in gayed too. ordered my rear rotors and pads got the package yesterday no pads like WTF!!!! so i aimed splparts and they said when i tried to order they ran out that day and pads are coming in tomorrow. so im doing my rear 5lug swap this weekend if its ok with matt LOL

the diameter of there rear is only bigger because of the drum e-brake the front rotors still have a larger surface for the pad then the rear

Not to mention the greater thickness of the front rotors, giving them a greater thermal mass to cope with the heat generated by all that added friction surface.
