well i suppose i should be updating this thread now.

the night of said pictures were taken, there was something moving around in the gas tank so we pulled out the fuel pump to check what was in the tank. turned out the brace inside the tank to keep gas from sway too much back and forth broke off which kinda tore the floater. we pulled it out and so forth. we also discovered that the filter at the end of the fuel pump broke off.

discoveries of that night were:

i have no A/C.
I have no sound deadening in the rear

cons:

the e-brake was ****ed up
the rear was primered but sh*tty crap crust f*ck all over the place.

yesterday:

we were able to scrounge a parts car.

Yuta:
recieved a new sub frame that was in great condition.
he attempted to pop out the bushings to install his new spl ones.

Henry:
got a new rear view mirror base cover
got top radiator braces

Matt:
great conditioned door panels, wheel well panels, rear speaker panels, center console

Me:
e-brake unit, fuel pump, and oem alpine deck. (has no cd player) but had the harness for the deck

Today:

i replaced my ebrake and works great. mine was a pos.
installed fuel pump and replaced all the bolts to it
fixed my front signals. the units were cut off and i had ricer blinkers. i dont anymore
replaced my hood latch (my secondary latch wasnt catching nor did the hood spring up when unlatched)

i found out i had frame damage but its not big because its pretty small.

as for the next 2 weeks plans. i have to re-prep the car. the previous owner did a sh*t of a job and i think i have to resand down to the original bondo because there are some sections with gloss under the primer.

i should be wire wheeling and cleaning the rear to be ready to paint it also

the guy with the mr2 is buying me spl steering rack bushings and cv boots for my birthday coming up. hopefully the bushings will dramatically correct my steer play.

thats all.

Fc's are rediculously expensive. Even if you go cheap they will end up costing you more than a 240 would be to set up. The reason why I switched is just because a 240 is much more logical for someone who isnt ballin out of control to go drift in. Fc's are bad *** cars and I wouldnt mind getting another one some day but not now. I want seat time now, not a year from now.
