achievements completed but got no GS points

achievements completed but got no GS points
***this thread needs to be moved to the off-topic, since for some reason, after logging in 5 times, i still cannot post a thread in the off-topic***
I am having issues with achievements being completed, but I receive no points for them. This happened a while ago with Halo 3, I completed all the levels with scoring, and passed the score, and got the achievements offline, but when i connected, it didnt show i got them, or even completed the score. Now, on Test Drive Unlimited, i completed Successful Mission Level 5 but never got the achievement for Successful Mission Level 4. Same with the miles driven achievements. I have well over 1500 miles driven, but never got the 1000 mile achievement. I do not use cheats. There is no reason why they shouldn't have registered. I only play a few games, and am trying to get 1000 gamerscore for all of them. When i asked Xbox support, all they replied with was 2 reasons it might happen, with no solution.
It's not that big of a deal, but has anybody had this problem before?

not gona lie i love my ps3 but xbox live has a better system for now but sony will catch up soon enough, they have to cause online gaming is the futer.
also all you console guys PC destroys anything any console can play. only thing consoles have over pc are exclusive titles.. but thats why i have a wii 360 and ps3 lol..
