That should be a GOOD race, but you might have a edge. Be sure to video tape it and post it here.

Some 100 octane would definitely help you turn the boost up and you'll be blowing by that feather weight of a car, but remember those thigns way nothing in comparison to our cars.

the del sol is going to weigh in pretty close to a 240...

the civic hatch is about 2200lbs, the coupe is 2400, the del sol is about 2550. i an s14 weighs in at almost 2700. so the weigh isnt that much dif...if it were a hatch on the other hand...

oh, didn't know the del sol weighed that much, damn thats heavy for a small car with 2 seats. whats in that that weighs sooo much. hmmmm interesting.

Also I don't think the nsport stage one will add 100 more horses to the engine, so also thing about that.

the del sol weighs about 2300lbs but with a bigger engine, it will weigh more. the s13 weights about 2650. the nsport stage one gives you 240hp at 7psi, thats about 85hp more and seems right. the weight difference is minimal and i will be pushin out more hp/lb if i did the math right (he will be makin about 195 hp). also i have an vlsd and he duzn't have a lsd at all. i think i will win if i shift well.

Trust me I was very close to getting one until I found out the weight. That was back when I almost bought a 5th gen and installed a GSR in it.

This is interesting..... the base del sol weighs 2302lbs. while the VTEC weighs 2522lbs. What's the difference in the trims besides VTEC? And if they weigh that much with just a 1.6 I don't even want to think about what it'd weigh with a 2.2.

well i think the del sol will walk the 240 hands down. Del sol is lighter, the H22 does not weight that much, and gives the del sol 200 hp in the little tiny car. Now thats 200hp BASELINE! not including any mods such as intake/headers/exhaust/clutch etc. I have heard just intake/exhaust/headers gives the h22 like somewhere around 25 hp more. I dunno about the 240 though, I dont really know much about these cars YET, but i do know alot about hondas and a h22 in a del sol will whoop some serious ***..

Hold on a minute. The car doesn't change, the engine does. So idk what the thing is empty but the only thing that is adding the weight it seems is the engine. Here's what i found @edmunds.com

S-2300lbs
SI-2400lbs
DOHC VTEC-2500lbs

Idk what car it is but take that weight and add on the extra weight of the engine.

You'll definately have a chance.

But they're still going to be lighter than our 2700lb 240's. So essentially you'll probably be at a 300 or 250lb weight difference (which can add up)

PS how much is that turbo and what site did you find it on?

Good luck!
-John
