Last nigh i got to see the king of surf gutiar play it was an amazing event almost religious. he has ben playing forever he invented the genere in the 50's and is still playing 
! he is about 70 now and he could have had ANY woman in there. a former street racer too. if yo uever get a chance to see him play do it. you will enjoy it. www.dickdale.com is his site

If it wasnt for him, there woudlnt be heavy distortion or weird effects on guitars. And you know what the Beach Boys totally copied him and sweated his nutz. Without him there would be no SURF MUSIC!
