id have to agree with you but the problem with a mosin is finding a real one, most all of them are replicas x_x least around here they are

USMCDrifter 11-28-2009 06:35 AM

Not too much that I want,

I'd enjoy a racing seat . .

Maybe a new book . . .

A bill paid, LOL

1SXY240 11-28-2009 10:05 PM

3.) My front end fixed :( everythings all ghetto, I need a hood and a bumper lol

battosaii930 11-29-2009 01:02 AM

actually thinking about it for a long time i want to buy a pistol for protection, i want one with good stopping power so ill probably get a .45. can anyone recommend a good reliable one? i was thinking a Glock 21

USMCDrifter 11-29-2009 09:03 AM

Didn't we already have this discussion in another thread? Mr. Ramos . . .if you would be so kind as to refresh our memories.

shaban 11-29-2009 11:54 AM

Beretta PX-4 Storm; it's what I carry at work. :)

jramosthe1st! 11-29-2009 04:08 PM

what discussion dave about the .45 or stopping power? in a .45 caliber i like kimber but they are way too much imo. i also like 9mm becuase the slug is about the same size as a .357, .380 .38 and a few others. the main differances are, shape of the slug, and caseing size which means more, or less punch depending on the caliber.

imo a 9mm luger provides the best ratio of slug size without too much over peritrtion. after all, you don't want to shot the bad guys infront of you and the people two blocks over too.

anyways, after much thought i've decided that i don't need anymore guns so that's off my list. also, considering that i'll have to buy these gifts myself, i may have to rethink the plasma cutter too.

silviaks2nr 11-29-2009 06:17 PM

new glass for my dslr
a tune
to put down some awesome dyno #s
some stuff for my dog

battosaii930 11-29-2009 06:21 PM

well i wasnt asking for help on the caliber i wanted help on wich gun is good and reliable. one that can be stored and for long periods of time and still fire when i need it to.

i was thinking a glock 21 but maybe there is something better ive looked online and the glock is about $500 so it is pricey for me but i may get it

i dont like glocks they just seem a bit too violent. but thats just me. if anything get something like a ruger 45 revolver in stainless steel. revolvers last forever and if you get the stainless steel model it can shoot magnum rounds ;]

jramosthe1st! 12-25-2009 03:55 PM

anyone get what they wanted? i didn't, but i did enjoy seeing all my nieces and nephew run around the house pretending to be reindeer.

USMCDrifter 12-25-2009 09:08 PM

I did get a new book, I usually do this time of year. I was more happy to be with family and see the look on their faces when they got what THEY wanted.

I guess this growing up BS actually does happen.

HKST04Z 12-25-2009 10:41 PM

i got a couple more ammo boxes, and a few boxes of 7.62 rounds and .22 rounds, oh and a new butterfly knife :D

battosaii930 12-26-2009 03:26 AM

i got some new 30mm incendiary rounds for my vulcan canon mounted on the east wing of my house

jramosthe1st! 12-26-2009 02:56 PM

jramosthe1st! 12-26-2009 04:05 PM

i've read good things about them, you should get one if you can. although that scope might be a bit of an exaggeration. it's probably 3-4 time the price of the gun.

USMCDrifter 12-26-2009 04:44 PM

I know, but man, it looks menacing . . .LOL!

I want to get out to the range so bad! You need to come out here and get some shootskies with me meng!

jramosthe1st! 12-26-2009 04:46 PM

i've actually been meaning to head over to dalton for some time now. but for one reason or another is just hasn't happened.

USMCDrifter 12-26-2009 05:15 PM

It couldn't be that whole 3,000 mile thing . . .LMAO!

jramosthe1st! 12-26-2009 06:32 PM

that's part of it.

USMCDrifter 12-26-2009 06:34 PM

LOL! Should we start a Firearm thread?

jramosthe1st! 12-26-2009 07:10 PM

go for it.

USMCDrifter 12-26-2009 07:51 PM
