Damn...I havent started in september since...EVER! I think the latest weve started was august 20ish

 

lol, i'll be making more than 20$/ hour too.

After i finish college, i'm going to be on an $800 a week salary for 5-days a week. The job is already mine, as long as i go to business school. And thats just as worker, when i take the ocmpany over ... hehehehe.
Can you say, 240, porsche, and ferrari?

 

lol, seems like Cape 240 is on the fast track. y'all might hate school now, but (and I never thought I'd find myself saying this) like you've prolly heard b4~ high school + college will definitely be some of the best times of your life. Yea the daily grind blows and believe me I know how much it sux to write papers, cram for exams, and waking up early for class and all that jazz. My senior spring of high school was probably the best 6 months I've had yet~ we could schedule our own classes so I only had a half day of classes everyday w/open campus. I also turned 18 and could "sign myself out", LOL. Enjoy it while it lasts, boredom is a luxury you still have... trust me, coming from a decent school and still making less than $20/hr with 20 grand to pay back in student loans while your car is falling apart is NOT FUN. The "real" world will defintely be a learning experience for most of you. I'm still trying to get used to this idea of not having summer vacation~ work EVERYDAY, where the hell did my two month break go!?!

 

School starts for me on monday and I'll still be working about 30-35 hours a week. No, unfortunately it's not a 20$ and hour job but it'll be enough $ until summer when I get a good job.

 

haha, i thought you were alot older. yea, school was fine, autocad is gonna be the sh*t cause i'll get a gaurunteed 100%, i can already draw crap in 3-d and we're learning how to draw boxes. And somehow i'm in some stupid *** english class, so A+ing that should be easy... i guess if i actually applied myself to school, i could be a good student, like i used to be

anyways, jesus... $20 per hour jobs?!?! i work two jobs for $6.00 and $6.20 an hour, and mow lawns, babysit and do yardwork and car detailing. Holy fock... if i had one job that paid that much... i dont really spend my money on much. just put it in the bank

EDIT: reading all this car sh*t and people talking about lots of money make me actually want to try and work hard again! you guys have inspired me... for now

 

consider urselves lucky.. $4.25 an hour for me. sux huh.. well i get commission as well (thank god). on average, i would say $9 an hour would sound just about right (thats with the commission)

 

yea... the commision jobs laws suck... what do you do? sell stuff at concerts kinda thing? POPCORN POPCORN...

$4.25 an hour? Don't take this the wrong way, but are you an illegal alien or something? You're English is obviously good enuff. $4.25 is below minimum wage... which means it's illegal.

 

no, i read it on one of those gay posters at work, if you get a certain percent or more of comission money, that's the per hour pay. it's not illegal, just sounds weird, i guess they figure the comission money makes it about normal

yeah our base pay is 4.25
the more we sell, the more commission we make. The commission adds up in one day and makes our pay. If its below minimum wage, we get paid 6.25 then. But that rarely happens. Most of the time it adds up to $9 an hour that day. If i do really good, i can easily make $15 an hour. But thats on days that i sell more than $2,000 worth of merchandise. And, yes i am legal. Im not an alien/immigrant

 

Well damn, I get $7.00 an hour, most of that just goes in the bank.

 

well i start college back up again aug 31..seeing how i just got done 2 weeks ago for my summer semester..highschool for me was great, for the friends not the work...and college you move at your own pace make ur own choices, seeing how ur legally an adult now..its a growing process...school grows on you...same bull**** everyday but you always get thru it......by the way i work about 20 hours a week and usually average 15-30 bucks an hour at my one job and 25-35 bucks an hour at my other job(although this one is only a few times a year)...pretty good for a kid who turns 21 in less than 2 weeks


by the way somehow im always broke..***king bills.

 

School sucks. Thats all.
