FD...would you?
if you guys had the chance of getting an FD Spirit R (2002) from japan or getting a new S15 spec R, which would you choose?? cause i know how some ppl really like silvias. but i personally like FD's. i dont know, it has just always been my favorite car. But i like silvias also

I would do some research on what one would be more practical for north america, since your in CA it's not like you can't find someone to work on the FD, the s15's SR is tempting 250hp 2L and it looks so good, all the FD's look the same (other than minor differences).
what ever one you choose have fun with it

wow, umm... I think I would have to go with the S15 because I have heard that rotary's can be a bi7ch to work on. Not that RX-7's suck by any strech of the imagination, but given the choice I would pick a car that I know that I could work on. It's not like you can't work on a rotary engine, I'm just saying I don't know how to. However if you know how to work on those engines and are a mazda efficianado then I would say to rock the FC.

IMO.....if you know how to work on rotary motors then go for it. The s15 and FD are both badass cars, but I'm an s15 fan.....so my vote would be biased. GL with whatever you decide.

Wankel engines are great...BUT...you overheat once and it is toast.
An S15 Spec R is a GREAT car. They drive great. They perform great. They are easy to mod. They are great all-round cars.
But this is a dumb question.

an S15 is more reality if i had the cash (they don't finance)
Auto ConXion
other then body appearance...idk what's different between an FD sold here in the US then a Spirit R FD3S....but as far as getting work done to a rotary engine..Rotary Power USA isn't far from my house...

I"d get the S15, its just so dam hot, it could melt concrete, haha, plus i dont know jack about the rotary, so once it startsto go under I'm so utterly screwed, but if i knew what to do in that case, id be all over that Rx7.....i guess it cant be a *I want both* answer can there?
