Happy new year! For me this year has already kicked tons of ass. I was at a party and nobody but me and 2 of my friends (I was the DD, sort of) wanted to go to the fireworks display downtown, so we went anyways and i saw this girl who was a senior when I was a sophomore. Anyways I havent seen her in a year and at midnight we run into eachother and talk for a second and then just start making out. Freaking awesome.

I guess I'll post up the first "close call" for 2008.

I got my new fog light put in and since I was at it, I went ahead and fixed both door windows. Afterwards, I decided to take off my silencer to see how loud it really was. Under SAE J1116, I was borderline 93.5db at 4500 rpm.

SO, I take her out for a spin to see how loud she can really get. I make my turn to this one stretch of open road and low and behold, a city cop was coming off the freeway. I saw him and drove "quietly"... I make a turn about a block before him and figured, "He turned on Boradway, dont think he'll follow me now..."

Well, I get up to the end of the block and... well... he's right there. I get up back to the road where I wanted to "test" my ride and the bloody bastid follows me. Needless to say, I had to under drive the 14 to not get a ticket. I basically drove in a circle back to where the cop originally saw me and decided to keep driving straight... Bastid turns left... I was for sure I was gonna get a ticket for something.

Drove home and got the damn silencer back on. I dont want any more unwanted attention.

BTW, this was about half an hour ago... Good time a rollin!!!!!!!!!

California sucks!

I drove my 535i around without any exhaust . . . LMAO!

But then again . . .this is the country . . . *sigh*

ive seen the spring and strut combo, but nismo coilovers? never seen any

mmmm and I went to Red Lobster with their tasty biscuits and then drifted in the snow. A cop caught me and just told me to go home.

^If It was me I would have told you that you weren't drifting anything in the snow and then give you a wreckless driving ticket for being a filthy ****.

I'm with you Bryan... BORED! I'm still debating on what to buy for my S14... I know for sure the strut bars, but debating if I should pick up them VR4 rotors from ebay... 100 bucks for the front and its slotted and dimpled. I'm planning to get a new gasket seal kit, need to get it in this spring. Not sure what else to pick up...

On another note, cloverfield sucked major duck balls. All that hype for a movie that left A LOT of things unanswered. And at other points, the acting was really corny... Major thumbs DOWN, -1 for cloverfield.

Why do so many people expect Cloverfield to answer every question you'd have about the monster and whats going on? It's supposed to be a bunch of people filming some party, some apocalyptic thing happens and **** gets blown up. I don't know about you, but if some monster was blowing up my town, I doubt I'd have some psychic flash of a back story, I'd just know **** is getting blown up and I gotta survive...

My first "Good Time of 2008".

I drove up to kansas city with a buddy to meet up with the kansas city DA guys. Went drifting for the first time evar! These three guys can friggen shred on stock suspension it nutzzz!

I also like the fact that a manager of a road course is basically on my beck and call because he wants a drift event so bad and Im the one that knows all the drifters in kansas! yay!
