Happy new year! For me this year has already kicked tons of ***. I was at a party and nobody but me and 2 of my friends (I was the DD, sort of) wanted to go to the fireworks display downtown, so we went anyways and i saw this girl who was a senior when I was a sophomore. Anyways I havent seen her in a year and at midnight we run into eachother and talk for a second and then just start making out. Freaking awesome.
I'm racing this year. Auto-x. Me and some guys in town might form a heartbreaker-esque auto-x team. I'm recently finding a lot of people near me with 240s, ill try and get em to join.
I guess I'll post up the first "close call" for 2008.
I got my new fog light put in and since I was at it, I went ahead and fixed both door windows. Afterwards, I decided to take off my silencer to see how loud it really was. Under SAE J1116, I was borderline 93.5db at 4500 rpm.
SO, I take her out for a spin to see how loud she can really get. I make my turn to this one stretch of open road and low and behold, a city cop was coming off the freeway. I saw him and drove "quietly"... I make a turn about a block before him and figured, "He turned on Boradway, dont think he'll follow me now..."
Well, I get up to the end of the block and... well... he's right there. I get up back to the road where I wanted to "test" my ride and the bloody bastid follows me. Needless to say, I had to under drive the 14 to not get a ticket. I basically drove in a circle back to where the cop originally saw me and decided to keep driving straight... Bastid turns left... I was for sure I was gonna get a ticket for something.
Drove home and got the damn silencer back on. I dont want any more unwanted attention.
