An S14, I think, would net quite a turn around, if I buy the car for the 800 dollar asking price, pop an engine and 5 speed transmission it it, fix the window and trunk lid, that shouldn't cost more than 2k on top of the purchase if that. I can probably sell that car for 3k easily.

LOL, I don't have deep pockets, well . . .kinda, but not really. I'll say it like this, I could sell the Miata, buy an E30 and be pretty well set on parts for the next while, but that would be tapping the spiggot pretty dry.

I dunno I love cars a lot.....like "I am a loser and have no girlfriend so I fill that void with cars" kind of love but all the parts and what not adds up so fast. I think I really wanna start saving my ducketts to get a place of my own eventually.
