Good Times!

My gas gauge works for the first time since I bought the car. Somehow the float arm rotated around 180 degrees and was no longer making contact with the sensor. I rotated it back in place, but nothing happened. Then three days later, all of a sudden it starts working!

Good times....

DEFINITELY GOOD TIMES! Congrats on the budget fix! You are working your way up the elitist scale!!

BTW! You have 123 posts . . .cool play on numbers!

My own good times . . . the Bullitt has a locking differential (yeah as opposed to a limited slip) and I'm learning how to make it work when trying to kick the tail end out around turns . . . well . . .with 320ftlbs, it's not so much trying as much as it is just leaving it in gear and pressing the right foot towards the floor.

Good times indeed . . .

I drove my Miata again, and she's just a completely different beast altogether. Not the fastest thing going forward, but I can just toss that 2000lbs body around turns as if I'm just walking, she isn't the runner in a sprint race like the Mustang is . . .but she can keep up with just about anyone in the corners . . .

My cars . . . .my anti-drug!

Question, Is the Bullet a real model of a mustang. Because I never heard of a Bullet but it sounds fast.

Bullitt not bullet.

Doesn't surprise me that you haven't heard of it as you were, what, 7 when this car came out, and you weren't even a glimmer in the eyes of your parents when the movie came out...

The big kids are talking here . . .

The Bullitt was one of the most intimidating ponies ever created during its time, Hell, Im 26 and the Bullitt ended its actual show room floor sales before I was born.

But now their bringing the Bullitt package back, but only as a GT model with badges. So wrong.

I just got back late last night from our spring break trip. We went camping on a friend's property. haven't been camping in years. 6 of us in the middle of the woods. 4 guys, 2 girls...well... as i found out on the way to the site, one of the guys (who happens to be my best friend) is gay. so that made things a little more interesting. we are all fun people, so that knowledge didn't change anything. we all tried to mess with each other. I caught my entire kerosene lantern on fire, burned my finger. even though we stayed for the week, we were only "camping" for a few days, because we were on marsh lands and heavy storms came through. Every night we stayed up till like 6 in the morning playing Dungeons and Dragons (I AM NERD). My character was an 8 foot dragon humanoid who likes the dead (necrophiliac). In the game my "girlfriend" was this little 5 foot undead human. The person playing that character was this really pretty girl from Canada. and since she just broke up with her boyfriend, in the game and in the real world i kept trying to get close to her and she didn't seem to mind, so maybe i have a chance. How awesome would that be -dating a girl from a foreign land! we tried to take my brother's little 2wd ford ranger to the actual campsite, but got stuck just getting off the driveway! so all the equipment had to be hand carried about 1/2 mile. Some how with all that equipment we took and my lead foot, the truck got better gas mileage than my 240.
