Does this mean the rebirth of Club240? Back to the days of the Touge Pirates and random Keira Knightly posts in reference to how great cars are to drive?

Meh, either way, it's good to see you back on the forums.

I dunno. "Club240" seems way changed. It was super simple before and small and I think that's what brought about everyone to be close knit with each other. But there's nothing wrong with change I think. We just need Hyjynx back, lol. But I think that's way too farfetch'd.

EDIT: Holy ****, he's still top poster! Hahahahahahahaha. And Jake still hasn't gotten banned? Lol

Hola~

Some pics of the new project... '74 Porsche 914. Picked up off of Craigslist for teh cheap.

2,000 lb., air-cooled, mid-engined goodness. This thing will eat a Miata in the corners and spit it out in disgust (ok, so maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit). Kind of low on hp, but that can be dealt with. Engine bay accepts anything from LS1's to 13B's, WRX motors or early 911 motors.

Enjoy!

nice score! i actually think the older porches look funny and prefer the newer stuff, but those old things are just as incredible as today's porches. good luck with the project!!

I would love to put my old Miata against a 914 in the twisties . . .that'd be FUUUNNN!

Nice find . . .

On a completely UNRELATED NOTE!

Am I the only one BAFFLED by how fast time flew by?

I mean, it seems like we just got good and strong into Good Times 2008 and now there's less than 90 days remaining of this year

Yeah bro, I know what you mean... This has been a really funky year for me.

Long story, I might call in to the radio show tomorrow to explain. But then again, who the hell cares about another lonely driver story? Dammit I need a car to work on and take my mind off things... again.

haha, thx for the compliments guys. Right now I'm having issues setting the timing for the dizzy. Seems like the previous owner might've reinstalled the drive gear for it backwards. Won't know until I tear into it next week.

Good to know this place isn't completely dead.

I've come to the realization lately that I need to start saving for a place of my own - with lots and lots of garage space. Working out of the 'rents garage at home just isn't cutting it anymore.
