Exclamation Gt4

GT4 finaly came out on the 22 of feb so excited


have been playing for the last 5 hours and there are so many cars and tracks and upgrades even nos

still trying to get enough $$ for the R34

Echo, except I didn't get to play it yet.... already picked up my copy though as soon as it was in the store. We should start a thread for best times on the tracks with 240's-180's.

this past few days i've been playing this game 'til 1 or 2am. First car I bought, of course a '96 Silvia K's Aero(same as my car, 98 240sx ) transferred my gt3 data and got 100,000 credits and a & b license. It sure helps tuning the car.

when you guys drive., what driving assistance do yo uuse? i still need to read up on what TCS and the other one do ... i think in gt3 i used both, but that was default. so i dunno. great graphics!

I turned off ASM and set the TCS to 1 or 2. In GT3 if I'm racing with a 1000hp+ car, I set it higher, but not more than 5.

But when drifting, both ASM and TCS are off. And use economy tires.

I started off with a Silvia S15 Spec-R. That did well enough til I won a Nismo 400R, then I got the Nismo R34 Road Going Version. I played it for 14 hours straight the other night. The damn game is addicting.

anyone finished the License Tests yet? Right now I'm stuck at Nurhburgring Lap Guide Test in iA License Test. Its freakin' long!

see, i wanna "learn to drift", but i have no clue how to do it in real life... i figure you say use economy tires because of gripping. i'll try without ASM. i've only messed around in arcade mode. can't wait to start racing in the real mode

if you're using the joystick, you're gonna have a hard time drifting the cars. Try it with the Logitech Steering Force-Feedback wheel, you'll have more control of the car. Its not easy, but you'll get the feel of it. Its not the same as the real life drifting, but with the 900 degress steering, i guess its close enough.

You can also win D1GP cars, but its f'in hard to drift, I dunno if you need to tune it first. The first D1GP car I got is the Mazda RX-7 FC(forgot the name of the car).

i have the logitech wheel for this (900 degrees). the only complaint i have is when steering FAST (so moving the wheel fast) is the winding noise it makes. but it's so much easier to use than joystick. i improved a lot in gt3 after going to that wheel.
