ij ust pre-ordered my copy of Gran Turismo 4. i can't wait till it's released and i get that call from Hollywood Video saying to come and pick it up!

The guy was telling me how the Release Date was set to Jan. 22nd, then bumped to March 2nd, then now it's at Feb.22nd!

hopefully it doesn't change again!

not sure if it's the same at all Hollywood Videos, but it only cost me 5 dollars to pre-order, then i pay the rest when the game comes in. and another thing with it is that you get a FREE RENTAL(movie or game) when you pick up the game.

another thing is i don't know if there are any other Hollywood Videos with "Game Crazy"... it's a little video game store that's part of and owned by hollywood video in my area.

so game crazy is also down south and on the east coast thats' cool, i like how they always seem to know the dates for releases of games. haha i'm somewhat of a game freak =P and i also like how for pre-orders it's always 5 dollars.

unlike other video game stores in my area. Game Stop told me 20 dollars to pre-order GT4, and at game stop they said if i were to pre order and didn't pick up the game the same day they call me, they'd sell it to someone else and if i were to come in another time to pick it up and they were out, that i'll have to wait.

At Game Crazy they don't do that, they hold it for you! until your able to pick it up! and you get a free rental! haha

Just to warn you guys, I had this game reserved for a little over half a year now. So like yeah espect big delays. And if rumors are true... then U.S. Playstation might not release GT4 until the PSP comes out. (PSP = handheld). So it might be even longer. Plus from what I have seen there is no longer internet capabilities for this game. So like we couldn't get a huge group from this site together to all race 240's. I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hope that they change that to make it online enabled. That would so rock.

There might not be any. Like the nintendo DS. If you didn't reserve a copy you have to wait like another 2 months until you can pick one up. So like even though it's been an insanely long time that I have it reserved, you can be damn sure that I will have that game the day it's released.

i stopped by hollywood video today after school, to drop off dragonball z budkai 3 and a movie, and i checked in with the guy at game crazy and he said that the "...release date is SET to feb. 22nd..." and after that he was telling me by SET he means that it will be released that day, and there'll be no more release date hopping! ...i hope he wasn't lying to me! haha
