Hey thanks club240/s-chassis

i havent been on this site for over two years now.. and simply forgot about club240 as i got into auto - x and more into my local 240 crowd (vancouver240sx.com...) LOL. site plug, why not.. but site is currently down for upgrades . but i got an email from s-chassis saying happy birthday.

i wasnt even aware club240 became s-chassis.

anyways thanks, it was a nice touch cause not many sites do that.

i should post on here more often as i became more knowledgable with my chuki.. its ka-t now and club240 was very helpful to me back then when i first got my chuki.

hope to speak to more of you guys on here.

Sam.

your wheels look cute on that black car. Hows the KA-T keep up with the porsches and stuff at the auto-x?

the wheels are rewinds.. no longer have them as the zero offset and spoke lay out did not clear my z32 brake upgrade. i was so disappointed after i installed the brakes and even using 10mm spacers they didnt fit.. so i sold them.

porsches and stuff.. well depends on the driver. 20% car 80% driver or something like that.. i just recently went ka-t and havent raced it yet in auto-x.. maybe in a few weeks. i think more seat time and full bushing upgrade and beefier sway bars front and rear would help with the handling. but 240's like Don's from PDM Racing KILL almost everyone/thing. but he has decades of experience and a reputable shop thats dedicated to racing.

i don't know him personally either but i've spoken with him twice over the phone and a few emails when asking about the tri flow cams a while back. he kept telling my how great they were and all. he sounded like he was reading a cue card or because he'd always say the same thing. he'd say something like, "oh yeah that's a great cam, i have that same cam on my coupe.......i runs like a bashe.......smokes the 17's right off the line" and so forth.

anyways i was just wondering if it was hype to sell more cams or if it was true.

from what i know, Don is no bs kind of guy and tells you something straight up... if he doesnt believe in a product he wont even run or sell them. everything from his store is tried and tested, so if he is saying that something is that good i would believe it. he even talked some of us out from buying some stuff from his own shop as he felt they were unnecessary parts or were not up to his standards.
