Horror movie post

Whats your favourite horror movie(s)?

Mine are (in no particular order) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original and 2003 remake)
Holloween 1&2
Friday the 13th 1&2&almost all of them except the ones after Jason goes to hell
Nightmare on Elm street Original
Night of the living Dead trilogy (plus remake of original)
28 days later
The Thing
Evil Dead (**** that movie was twisted)
Return of the living dead(first part)
Henry Portrait of a serial killer
It (the first half)
Childs play(something about that little dude that just freaks me out I know hes tiny and **** but hes a homicidal killer and he has the element of suprise, never underestimate someone because of there size)

BTW no I didnt forget the excorcist because that movie ****in SUCKED it was an hour and 45 minutes of talking and a slow paced movie and the "scary parts" just weren't good enough to make up for a ****ty movie. I watched it when I was like 8 years old and had high hopes for it being scary and I fell asleep an hour into it since then Ive tried to watch it again and again and I always fall asleep. Ive watched it once without falling asleep and I was like WHAT THE **** I STAYED AWAKE FOR THIS LAME PEICE OF CINEMATIC CRAP!!! If you want to watch a good movie about the devil watch The Omen. The excorcist that girl wasnt throwing up because she was possesed she was puking because she was in such a ****ty movie.

There are a ****load more (I love horror movies) but It will take too long to type up and there is a horror movie marathon goin down.

I thought the scene where for one frame you saw a scary image was pretty spookay. Just the feel of the movie use to give me the creeps. If they made a new one it would be pretty good i guess. Halloween 1 & 2 were classics. 3 sucked *** and had nothing to do with the legendary "Michel Myers". There was ine about the ancient druids that wasnt bad and another i saw last night was pretty good, The Curse of Michael Myers. The Nightmare on Elm Streets have alway been a favorite. And Evil Dead 1 & 2 showed that a movie didnt have to have a good buget to be scary as hell, Army of Darkness altho it made me laugh more than anything els. The original Pshyco and the remake, just original classics. But really a movie hasnt really ever scared me too much. I can remeber watching the Exorcist when i was about 10 or so and it scared the **** out of me, Im watching it now and it doesnt do a hole lot. The first half of Jeepers Creepers was pretty good and then it went down the ****ter.

In no particular order:

The Exorcist (original 1973)
The Shining (1980)
Jacob's Ladder (1990)
Halloween (1978)
Ju-On (2000)
The Grudge (2004)
Stir of Echoes (1999)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (remake 2004)
Seven (1995)
An American Werewolf in London (1981)
The Blair Witch Project (1999)

before you flame the list, first ask yourself if you actually understood the movies.

Ju-On is the original Grudge right? Thats the one I wanted to see.
Jacobs Ladder didn't know that was under the category of horror.
The Shining kicked *** but I couldn't stand his wife, she was just to ugly, It was hard to get past that to fully enjoy the movie.
Holloween kick ***.
The Grudge I haven't seen it yet but I'm sure Ju-On is far superior. Why does hollywood see it necessary to ruin a good foreign film by "dubbing" in white hollywood actors. If your too lazy(or stupid) to read subtitles then its your loss missing out on a good movie.
You liked the remake of Texas Chainsaw more than the original? I thought they were both very good but something about the gritty camera work in the original that adds more of a horror atmosphere.
Sevens a damn fine film.
I just saw American Wherewolf in London for the first time the other day and I was quite impressed.( Sarah is one damn fine Londonite BTW thats the mom from Childs Play 2)

Actually, "the Grudge" is like parts of "Ju-On", "Ju-On: The Grudge", and Ju-on 3 (forgot the actual title) put together... and "The Grudge" is actually a good movie - it's not your typical "cheesy remake", plus the original Japanese director did 'The Grudge" so it's pretty true... funny side note: all the "remake movie bashers" keep nitpicking about how the story has certain "unanswered" things, but that's only because they're trying to compare it to your standard "beginning, sroty, climax, solid conclusion" U.S. movie, which Japanese films don't always do. The Japanese find uncertainty and "hanging" endings as another way of making the viewers imagine the rest of the story etc.

"Jacob's Ladder" is classified as horror... so is "Silence of the Lambs"... and "Alien", if you can believe it.

I agree, the classic look of the original TCSM is great... maybe I just picked the remake because of Jessica Beil's tanktop

Man everything about her in that movie was ****in sweet. I had no Idea she had that kinda body. I just did a image search on Yahoo (Sorry Hyjynx) Shes done nude spreads before you should check it out. She has a perfect bod. I didn't know she had such a perfect pair of talents.

Can't say exact because I'm not about to count. I'd estimate like 600-700, not including Option2 / other car stuffs DVDs

GOD DAMN!!! Dude you past DVD ***** about 500 DVD's ago You are at like DVD Crack *****. You'll do anything to get your DVD fix. Estimating that each DVD was lets say 20 bucks or so thats over 14,000 dollars spent on your addiction. Are there any support groups for that?HAHAHA

In a way I envy you man your no slave to the crappy programming on TV. If there is nothing on you can just pop in a movie. If you watched 1 DVD a day It would take you over 2 years before you had to watch the same thing again. BTW you got any Family Guy DVD's

A lot of them I'd buy at the $5 rack at Walmart, or sometimes I'd browse the used section at video stores, etc. I am a smart shopper - I don't just go buy every DVD when I want it LOL I look for sales, or even those "2 for $10" packs. It just depends on the movies themselves... There's some I don't have yet because they haven't dropped in price no matter how old they are (i.e. "Natural Born Killers" and "Nick of Time" still hover around the $24.99 price) and then sometimes I buy sets, like "24: Season 1 and 2", "Dark Angel: Season 1 and 2" etc.

It's not exactly a "DVD *****" thing. I guess I just like watching movies, especially the extra features and bonus footage. I like seeing how things are created.

...now that I watched it again, "Silence of the Lambs" can be categorized as horror. A good one at that.
