if you want to avoid seeing bad movies never watch "whickerman" either. it is seriously the worst movie i've ever seen.

HAHAHAHAHAHA thats hollywood for you bro. They can destroy $400,000 GTs like nobodys business. This kinda looks like a *gasp* FnF but with Hi End exotics, I might see it since the cars look good.

Why would you even attempt to watch torque? the cover of the DVD should give you fair warning as to how ****ty that movie is.
And Wickerman does suck, Nicholas Cage has been acting like **** as of late.

i honestly have no idea. i watched it a while back, but then i thought it would be something funny to see, but instead, it got me angry. they had possibly (dare i say this?) worse lines thatn FnF! "what is it about four wheels that makes you guys such ____?" and fighting with their bikes?

id much rather watch a FnF marathon than have to watch that movie again lol

(I think I'll be using this one a lot...)

I have had a few GTs come in on trade and have spent some good time in them. Here's some info for you:

1. It might just be the most comfortable car I have ever been in. All controls are easy to reach and fit perfectly. The seats, while rigid and thin, feel amazing and would support a good hard half-day run with no backaches.

2. The engineering is absolutely phenominal. The CF work is mind-blowing and the engine is one of the most beautiful ever built.

3. Sound. It is depressingly quiet at idle and only barks at near redline and even then it is just loud. No cool noise or shaped sound.

4. Body... Meh... Looks like every other Porsche. For such a car they should have stepped a bit farther away from their normal production. This is the #1 reason why the whole project tanked.

5. Power. Siiiiickkkkk. Too much in fact for how light the car is. Driving the car is not really that fun.

6. Handling. Ummm... It's a Porsche, so it handles pretty great, but like all of them Terminal Oversteer is always looming in the mirror. In the hands of anyone less than a Porsche factory driver it is a deathtrap.

Agreed. An early Lightweight 911 is one of the best cars to sling around.

Complete thread hijack... Support to my_kinda_livin' though. I wouldn't wast my cash watching exotics get destroyed.

Slowly, but surely she goes.

Steering rack bushings and front traction rods - done
Sway bars - 1 week wait
Urethane Subframe inserts - 1 week wait
Rear toe rods - should be in this week
Rear traction rods - should be in this week
Rear uppers - next paycheck

Will tear off the underside when I have a nice pile of new stuff. Should be around the 28th when everything will come together.

Making decision now leaning towards a KYB/Eibach Pro setup, but need to source generic pillowball upper mounts. Ideas?

I'm actually kind of pumped to see Redline

...I guess no one's going to see Grindhouse? I hear it has a wonderful plot.
