swayt im into rc cars i think those are yokohomo but they used plastic pipe things for their tires so it can slip on cement. r/c cars is a real real expensive hobbie but if u guys want to its real fun to play with i was into rc cars i have a 1/18 scale hpi micro its little and fuun but still expensive with those upgrade parts. i spent near a grand on it. heres a site for 1/18 scale hpi micros and other small rc cars their kewl to play but expensive

swayt thats a yokohomo 1/10 scale rc car. If u are willing to get into rc cars its really expensive im telling u guys that right now.

I just made some drifting tires for my RC car, I got the super street RSX RC car from radio shack, the tires are the same diameter as a 12 oz can, so i cut the bottoms off some cans, and slip them over the rear wheels, now it does donuts and drifts, and does really long burnouts

The price says $300+ but that's retail and it's usually much less than that (unless it comes with the controller, etc.)
Usually for these types of models (not toys - MODELS) in 1/10 scale you're looking at about a starting price of $350 for a basic setup. My friend told me ready to go the Yok (what we call them) should run about $400-$425 total.
In that video with Inamura they were using plastic piping glued to regular 1/10 scale sedan wheels, but for the actual retail kit the car uses special rubber molded tires with grooves in them. Plastic rings (replaceable) fit into these grooves to get the car to "drift".
BTW those cars are belt-driven AWD, so you're "powersliding" more than "drifting"... but it looks the same and it's for fun so WHO CARES!!!!
