Im gonna paint my other car
i have this other car that i bought a while ago, a 91 NX 2000 with Panasport rims for 1000.00. ibought it just do to the fact the when i was 16, my first car was a Pulsar so i wanted something with a bit more power but also looked preety good. Well anyways i bought the only kit they sell for this car which is the Erebuni kit, and i want to know a couple things so i can paint it myself. I had this urge for awhile, yea ive painted some things like my interiror in my 240(which i sold)
but, i just have to do this.
1. Is do i use bondo or fiberglass, to fill in dents or whatever.
2. Should i buy a paint gun and sander at autozone, they are pretty good brand Cambell Housefed, the gun is like 50 bux and the sander is 36 bux.
3. Do i use bondo or fiberglass, before or after i strip the car of its paint. I was think ing of stripping it with aircraft remover, this stuff is powerful.
4. I mean how hard is it to paint, if i mess up or whatever ill get experience and learn from my mistakes.
5. I just dont want to pay someone 1500.00 for a basic base coat. That is bull****, and some of my friends who have got there paint jobs from these places, werent satisfied. I just dont want to be another victim.
So please give opinions or say if im wrong or plain out should i go with these bull**** paint jobs, what?

prep is 90% of the work of painting, and a good prep job leads to a good paint job. a $50 painter will get you a paint job that looks like it cost $50, cough Maaco. You can fill them with bondo, or filler. I'd personally do filler. A sander is a HUGE help, speaking from experience with my sander while doing bondo for the crx.
Just some thoughts.
