Long Live Rice
What i am sick of is people bagging people that "Rice" there car. Just because a car has a huge wing and green undertray neons doesnt mean that nothing has been spent on the engine.
Not to mention the fact that not everybody cares about a car that can to 200mph and a 10s quarter. some people would prefer to look good.
personally, with my car, i will be going for a combination of both rice and performance. So people will see my car, think it is just rice and no performance, but you cant tell that just by looking.

Well, my def of rice is a car that is all show and no go. And IMO the show part is done poorly/cheaply. There is a dif between rice and well done rice :b. Personally, I'm a fan of the beater style car. I love a car that looks like **** and destroys, I fell in love with a Galant VR-4 this past w/e. God it was impressive, the guy was destroying LS1s and Cobras and the like. He was doing this in his ugly *** 4 door purple galant, full leather enterior, and on the stock turbo. When he launched his windshield wipers would turn on, his doors squeeked when he opened them, and the power windows shuddered when he lowered them...it was great.

i can agree on the Rice standard being a little stiff these days.
but REAL rice as we all know it are guys that drive Elantra's with type R badges,3 spoke Prime wheels, stock exhausts with 5" tips
and cow like seat covers.
as far as i'm concerned these days there is an expected "norm" that goes with cars just like stereotyping. thats just the way it is. but personal prefrence is personal.
especially when you can crack *** like the guy in the galant.
i'm not a show car fan, but if it looks good it looks good, right
?
