Might be getting an 86, have a question...

This guy is selling an AE86 for 300 bucks, therefore, I cant turn it down.
Me and my friend are going half and half and since his dad owns a body shop are planning on fixing it up and turning it into a fun track car.
My questions is, what are some good websites to find good parts for that car??

Welcome to the life! Half on 300 bucks? That's pushing it huh, because when it comes down to ownership . . .ehhh . . .nevermind . . .anyhow. . . Yeah these are silly fun cars and as was said, Club4AG is going to be your best outlet.

So 300 bucks . . . .it must be a hell box SR5 or a chassis of a GTS. I personally spent 800 on an SR5, but it's silly clean, it just needed a clutch, so that's going to be a new daily driver once I get her registerd.

You're going to have fun, but my suggestion, spend the 300 bucks, get it over with and just buy it out right.

haha well you see the car needs a new passenger fender and hood, had a go with a deer. My friend thats going in it with me has a bodyshop right next to his house, so the plan is to use this car as project to not only make it nice but learn how to do bodywork and paint.
And its a GT-S, 4ag with Tvis and all the goodie, including lsd. Also, no rust on the frame.
The guys is selling it because he just had a kid and needs money desperately.

Don't be stupid. You should NEVER, EVER, EVER share ownership of a car, track **** or not. I see this ending badly. My friend and I a long time ago were going to go halves on a track car but I came to my senses.

As tactfully incorrect as this was worded, I do have to agree with Ryan (Just kidding ry . . . .wub u)

But yes, that's a good find, 300 bucks isn't a lot of money at all, to say you got a GT-S for under 2k is a good find. I definitely wouldn't share that, it just sounds like one business agreement that will definitely end a friendship.

But

Oh well, to each their own.

Rock on brother!!!
