I've had my license for about 4 years now, i started with a 93 seca II no fairings with custom headers, its a warrior but is rusted everywhere from outdoor parking. i now ride a 02 gsxr telefonica 600. Its always good to ride a beater bike till your efficient enough to ride something else. I've seen people drop/laid the bikes down within a week of purchasing something brand spanking new. Ride safe!! sometimes people don't see you coming.

A buddy of mine just bought his bike and the next day laid it down. costs him like 1500 to repair.

I don't have a motorcycle license but my scooter is licensed as one (it's legally a motorcycle because of how fast it is.)

Yep, Ninja 250 gets 70mpg highway. Gas here reached 4.00 a gallon for regular unleaded today.

I got my license that way at the local Harley shop here. $275 well spent, three day class walked out with my license and a certificate for a discount on insurance. In the end it pays for its self.
