ok. my gf drives a 93 honda accord and when she comes to a stop her car starts to over heat....do you guys know what would cause this? she also said that when she's drivin that sometimes it will start to overheat but all she has to do is turn the AC on and it will go away......

u guys know what is causing this?

well usually when your car overheats you turn the heat on, maybe one of her electric fans died, other than that i couldnt tell ya

Yeah, its probably one of the fans, mainly cause when driving at normal speeds the air goes right through, but when you're stopped, no air is getting to the engine, so thats probably the reason.

Whats wrong with Honda, I thought they sucked in every aspect except reliability, I thought that is where they were good.

I like Nissan better too, mainly cause they got their head on straight on giving people what they want, horsepower. That is why the new Maxima, Altima, and SE-R are now out.

 

even the first altimas were faster than the 4cly accords...150h.p and 156@ 4500rpm of torque not bad for a family car
