anyone have this game? i was tempted to buy it the other day but I figure ill hold out untill GT4 comes. I bought True Crime instead.

I hear there is a drift competition.

anyone else in here have a PS2?

There all ready is a thread up about this buddy. Isnt all that great of a game, and i got the PS2. Waiting to buy the new logitech wheel and get prepared for GT4

 

NFSU isnt that bad though...it has me hooked...

 

i had a wheel when i hda my dreamcast. it was pretty kool, molded after the 360 Modena's wheel and had paddle shifters. I got rid of it because I had no where to put it.

the game is fun just like tony hawk's pro skater series.

not realistic in the least bit. but fun nonetheless

 

game gots me playin for hours...

 

oh.. one more thing.. only if the crashes were like 'burnout 2' that would be a kick-*** game.. i wonder how 'street racing syndicate' will turn out.. got that on reserve as well as gt4.. comin out the same day ya noe..

 

The game is cool....except I think they based it 100% off the 2F2F movies. They even have nitrous in there and when you use it.....it has that same, blurry hyper speed that they show in the movie.....very ricey....but a good game nonetheless.....I basically do the drifting competitions all the time..."they is fun"

 

dont forget the constant flames when your using the nitrous... thats pretty cool, I finally got the skyline, and after there is no more cars to unlock you kinda feel like you are playing for no reason, plus whenever you unlock a new mod, you already have enough money to afford it all, and I play on easy most of the time, I liked the gran turismo part where you had to save up a LONNNGGG time just to get anything, until you are a l33t racer then you can just go win an endurance race and sell the prize car and get whatever you want.

 

the game is a hell of a lot of fun just way too fake

on thing is that the RSX is basically better than all of the other cars until u get the rx-7 s2000 or the skyline

just because it is like the only 6 speed in the game i dont think that sould automatically make it the better car

also the fact that unless you are doing a drag you cant total your car during the race that sorta sucks too

the supra is slower than the RSX but you get the rsx before the supra.. it seems that the quality of the car should be in the same order that you get them

that order is like that with a few of the car

nonetheless these are all little things and all in all it is alot of fun especially the split screen mode when u can race your friends and stuff

 

BTW when does GT4 come out
I lhave every GT game and i can woit for this one

 

GT4 isnt coming out untill april 04 or so. Thats what the dip****s at EB told me. God knows that if they say its april 04 it probly means not untill next christmas. Who knows.

 

other sources such as PSM say the same...

 

you dont have to have PS2 to play this game...its for Xbox, PS2 and PC..so if you guys have either one...can go check it out..
order to play on pc..list Gforce 2 and 1 g...
