nick hogan plannin on driftin for mopar....what do u think of this?

im one that doesnt really like the idea especially since hes not even old enough to have his license yet, an theres so many talented ppl out there that struggle to get sponsors n stuff n he has a famous dad with money n gets sponsored, i think, mainly for that reason

I am gonna have to agree with you on that. Drifting is becoming so very mainstream and commercial now.

I was just watching Formula D on G4TV and I realized how it has become very commercial/corporate. I guess its not such a bad thing, but I just dont want it to become the cool thing to do & loose its underground roots.

I am sorry to say that but ... Drift is no more underground and is already "the cool thing" to do. How many times am I told "yo man, are you driftin' " and most of them aren't old enought to drive a car. It's sad but like all the underground stuff, it's a question of time before it gets popular. Some of you might be old enought to remember how skateboard use to be in the 80's...

I watch one of the hogan knows best, and nick had "stroker pistons, stroker rods," and some mechanics gloves like he was about to put them in, i thaught that was funny.

sounds retarded to me. Drifting is gonna become a big, over advertised sport, like most other forms of racing have. Having a burnt out celebrity's son drive a drift car is one of the dumbest things i've ever heard. I dont care if he's a good driver or not.

i agree...ive been watchin formula d recently an this year is very different from last year. last year, it seemed as if there was more excitement, but this year, it sounds like youre watchin sports on espn or abc.....totally just, blah. i think ima start putting the tv on mute until the actual drifting starts lol

if he's actually a good drifter than i won't mind that, but if anything else, that ****'s gay, and beside i know alot more dedicated kids that put their heart and soul into the sport, paying out of thier own pocket that truely deserve some sponsorship,... really, this kind of bull**** pisses me off,,
