I uno if i need new shocks or not. I thought id just get, like the Auto Zone shocks or something with Tein S-Tech springs.

 

Double post! Lol...with s-techs you might be able to get away with stockers...but with RS*R...NOOO!!! Get coilovers...

 

Uh.... I used high-heat Engine Paint

- aircraft stripper
- dry sand
- soap rinse
- primer 3 layers
- paint 6 layers
- clearcoat 4 layers
- outdoor dry for 2 days (just left them out there in the summer heat)

 

Do the calipers really need clearcoat?

 

^^^If you want it to last than yeah, probably

 

So it lasts getting really hot on an engine block but doesnt on some every day driven calipers??

actually i dont really know. what i did and it loos good. i took a wire wheel to my caliper and its made them look like graphite. pretty sweet. yes i will have to do it again later but then i will clear coat them so it will last

 

i painted mine with watercolors.

 

spent a good 2 hours with these guys last night
