Because he's a sent hound, or cold nose hound, which mean if he smells something he's off. I let him run around the yard and junk about everyday but can't take my eye off of him because he'll run coon or other animals scents from the last night. I want to take him to a guy's house I know. He has about a 10 acre fenced off area with about 6 coyote in there. My dog would have a blast running the.

We have 12 acres so i think he likes it alright. I wish I could fence him in in a big area. But he'd climb them or something, lol.
