not bad for an overweight buy driving his acura with a clutch that i bet has less than 50 miles left on it...i coulda topped it out, but by the time i had the idea for the pic, my exit was in my face

i have a question fo you guys, if my catalytic converter was plugged/bad, would it cause my 240 to run like crap and overheat while idling in my driveway for about 30 mins... i was working on some of the stuff inside the car and noticed a strange smell, so i went uncer the car and it smelled really bad, i saw the temp gauge, and it was 3/4 of the way up, and when i shut it off, my coolant started to boil over... im thinking that since a plugged cat causes excess backpressure and heat, thats whats making that happen what do you think?i know its off topic, but i would like some info

No i know what coolant smells like... it has a very sweet smell... this is more of a burning smell... like the carpet around the shifter was melting, ive seen that happen before because the cat was bad and got cherry red... and ive seen cars burn before because of a bad cat getting too hot
