Failure

The road I travel ain't got yellow bricks,
but is paved with *******s, *****es, and ******.
And when it seems that I'm down for the count,
a tiny light shines to help me out.
And when it comes, it burns my eyes
and nobody can hear my muffled cries.
So alone I sit for another dark night,
with nothing but my feelings to fight.

When day breaks I wake alone,
nobody near to call my own,
seven missed calls on my phone,
and I no longer care.
I feel I reap what I've not sown,
My best layed plans have all been blown,
so I just want to make it known,
that I have given up.

Lol I appreciate the thought. Same here, more or less.... but I am bipolar, so this kinda happens. It doesn't help when a lady friend of mine contacts me out of the blue and makes me think of the old days and things I want to change so bad, but can't do.

 

i think im bipolar.

but i get into fights and stuff when im mad instead of writing poetry.

i think poetry is a better idea.

Is it worth it?

If you would have died fighting, you would have died honorably
Instead you grabbed a dagger, and ended yourself so horribly

But you stopped, and you are no more

When you were called names and pushed in to the wall
You smiled back and said it didn't hurt you at all
But I saw it in your heart
As it tore your life apart
