Random Picture's of the Day (death to 56k)
Ok I've decided to start picture of the day once again. I would like to keep this one geared towards photo's actually taken by members of the forum and keep the random pictures of internet junk away (I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about). So feel free to show your photography skills here or just post pictures that you have taken that you think are cool. For hosting pictures you can go to:

This is me about 3 years ago next to '56 chevy business man's sedan.
Its got a big-blcok 454, fully built. richmond 6-speed tranny and line-locks. I was built for burning rubber. :) Pushing over 700horses. VERY FAST :) Attachment 27369 |
oh man I love that car. I don't know about the purp color scheme, but hell just goes to prove a '56 chevy is one of the most beautiful car designs ever no matter wtf you paint it.

Went a picked up a new hatch for my car today and hit up Atlantic City so I could see the ocean for the first time

Before saturday nope, never had time when I was younger, mom never drove, and once I turned 16 I worked all the time to get my first s13, tried saving as much as I could.
The hatch belongs to Mo, the guy that sold me the hatch and door. He posts alot of IFX and occasionally here I believe. One of the coolest guys I've ever met. |

Well I've been through a regular and advanced photography class, with all that crap, I'm just an amateur and I do this for hobby, I don't plan on going professional, but I would love to bring my pictures to that level.

Well Yarou the only thing I'd give you crap about is posting pictures that aren't yours . . .the idea is to get us taking some sweet pictures and posting them up.
Although I do like that HDR one! ^_^ The picture you took of your apartment building is nice, I'm not complaining at all, I'm just an amateur with training and experience, don't let me sway your judgment of a picture or have you feel uneasy towards posting. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- That said . . .here's 2 more. . . remember guys, it's the quality of the picture, not the quantity, don't post 100 pics in a post if they all are garbage, post 1 or 2 really good ones, and keep the page load times to a mild roar. Figured I'd show off some versatility . . .an indoor night shot, low light, very low shutter speed, low F-Stop Attachment 19867 And one out doors, high shutter speed, high F-Stop, bright light . . . . Attachment 19868 Notice that I push the threshold very far in my pictures, I like seeing just how much detail I can include in my shots before distortion and whiteout happens. I like the first 3 a LOT . . .I mean a whoooole BUNCH! ^_^
The last one wants to draw your attention away from what I feel is the main subject, the car. It almost makes the main subject the refrigerator and it burns out the fridges appearance :( Overall, I'd still give you an A-, the last picture is a C at best and that killed your average :p But I still love ya . . .lets see some more amazing shots! -Stig |
