Well...
You can call me Alex. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, working on building the business back up. So far about 75% of the people have been pretty good about the news, especially the people who borrowed more than average. The other 25% has been quite tough, I've had to call the cops a couple times to help. A lot of people have been threatening to file lawsuits, and many more who have already contacted their lawyers. There's nothing that they can really do, because of the contract they signed when they pawned their stuff that says "The Pawnbroker is not liable for damage or loss of item caused by an Act of God, Burglary, Theft, or Robbery." So right now we're just waiting and to see what will happen. If it goes downhill, and we are forced to shut down, my dad will probably retire early, and move to Lebanon - selling his property here. I would have to find a job until I finish school, and probably would have to cut my schooling short (was going to go for business/law, but might just have to do business only).

also cops prolly not telling you about the suspect because they dont want you to go find him and do something esp when they arnt 100% they did anything.
its the smart thing to do to keep the victims from doing crimes them selfs because they lost so much and arnt emotionally stable.
im not saying you would but alot of people would and its just a safty precaution

Review your tapes because I am pretty sure that the suspect checked out the store before attemping a robbery. Had to make sure that it was going to be worth it. Did you hand over any of your tapes to the cops?
damn.
