RB vs. 454

I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in off topic. I was listening to a *debate* at work today. The topic was what could out run what in stock form. Rb26 DETT or the 454 rocket.(american muscle) I know the 454 puts out a good 400hp and about 300 or 320 at the wheels. The RB26 DETT about 280 to 300hp and about 200 or 220 at the wheels. Correct me if i'm wrong. I'm talking stock form now. I believe the muscle cars usually run the 1/8. 1/4 for the imports ofcourse. I'm thinking the power to weight ratio has to play a big part in this. RB Skyline R34 and 454 in a 70 something El Camino. Some say 1/8 El Camino and 1/4 Skyline. I was like i don't know but i'd luv to see that. So I just wanted some input and opinions from anyone. I fugured I might as well make my 1st post a weird one. So let me know.....import or american muscle?!?!

Moved to OT, this has nothing to do with 240's.

Muscle. Put the numbers next to each other, that's all you got to do.

They are a bit heavy but 454. Now if you tunned the Rb it would be an opposite landslide.

massive super charger on a muscle will still kill that 1000 hp. remember... they're super chargers are out of the hood and block half the view of the road.

454 > Skyline
period

If both the 454 and RB26 were heavily modded, then the Rb would get spanked.
