as long as your handguard is carbine length, daniel defense makes a 2 piece quad rail system...

and midwest industries has a 2 piece rail system too.

The numbers are there to help the person remember the mounting location on the rail for all of the accessories.

I stopped getting emails about a few weeks ago. Wonder what is up...

My email notification works perfectly, I'm not sure what's going on as you're not the only one that has complained of that. I would try disabling it, saving, then reenabling it and seeing if that fixes it.

I too was wondering where everyone has gone.

Man, I remember the days of Club240.com . . .it seemed that ever since that changed it's name, 90 percent of the regulars (which was quite a lot) just fell off.

if you want a big gun get a revolver, that amt has a bad rap.

also, this weekend i finally found three revolvers i've been looking for for some time.

taurus raging bull chambered in .454 casull with an 8 3/8" barrel.

it's well balanced and not at all heavy but the grip is way too big for my hands
so i probably wont get this gun after all.

taurus 608 .357 mag with a 6 1/2" barrel

another great gun but for something at big i'd like it in a .44 mag. this is a gun that would be better suited for winter attire.

taurus 605 2" barrel

i got this gun because i wanted something that i could pocket carry and was chambered in .357 mag. it only holds 5 rounds but compared to my pf9, which is roughly the same size i feel the 605 would prove to be a better choice.

Jesus, how accurate is the snub nose 357? is it hard to control, being so small? Especially with a short grip?

i haven't had a chance to fire is yet, but i can't imagine it being very effective past 10 yards or so. snubbies are known as belly guns for a reason even thought i have seen a video of someone hitting a target at 80 yards with a snubby.

what i can tell you is that the trigger is stiff, it's at least twice and heavy as my kel tec, which is a dao 9mm. in the single action mode it takes very little to set it off though. i don't expect the recoil to be that much more than my pf9 becuase of the weight difference of the guns. my 9mm is plastic and doesn't absorb much of the recoil unlike the solid steel 605 should.

Lookin to get something like this for a back-up:

Drop a few rounds of +P 9mm JHP, should do the trick... if all else fails.

that's a beautiful 1911.

i was given the day off so i went to a local indoor range to test out my 605 and get some practice with my pf9. as it turns out, i was right. i was able to get 2"-3" groups at 7yrds when firing in single action. double action firing gave me some 3"-4" groups but all to the right.

the results with the pf9 were not so pleasing though. all my shots were right on center, but about 6" low. i tried shimming the rear sight to see if that did anything, but it really didn't do much. after many disappointing shots i came to the conclusion that it was me and not the gun. i got a better grip and the groups began to look much improved. the grip is just too narrow for me to keep from moving around as i squeeze the trigger. i looked around the forums for a fix and ran across something i think will work just fine.
