not to bust your balls or anything but that gun cost $1300 new so most you would get used is $800-1000

NiSmO Knight 07-01-2011 10:10 AM

Its actually $1800 brand new on gunbroker (if its in stock, which is rarely), most places Ive gone to in person will only do special order and have quoted me average 1800 - 2200 with about a 6 month wait time. I went onto calguns and there are guys there who are selling the half rail version for 1600, guys I know who have the same exact TRP as I do have fetched a pretty penny on there. It should be sold in about a week or so. =P

do it

im actually going to build an AR lol

going with an Adam Arms 5.45x39 piston upper and any cheap lower and buying that slide fire stock.

**** 5.56, 5.45 is a better round and cost half as much 1080 round ammo can is $100, 200 .223 rounds is $80 so ya lol

NiSmO Knight 07-02-2011 02:56 PM

Nice! how much is the 5.45 upper? and is the ammo readily available?

not enough ammo. need MOAR

NiSmO Knight 07-03-2011 02:01 PM

so the multi-cal/223 lower will work with the 545?

And how is ballistics of the 545 vs the 556?

battosaii930 07-03-2011 09:14 PM

yep 5.45 is very similar to 5.56 in size but as for ballistics its accurate out of a good AK to 500ish yards ive heard from a very good AR its accurate to 700ish yards and when it comes to wounds to flesh the 5.56 dosnt hold a candle to the 5.45.

if you look at a FMJ 5.45 wound you would swear it was a hollow point because the way its designed it tumbles like crazy in flesh

a little off topic, but can anyone recommend me a good video card for gaming? Looking to spend no more than $300 on the card.

Holy schiza!!! What the hell uses that ginormous round???

battosaii930 09-25-2011 04:32 PM

anything made to shoot 458 SOCOM usually AR's since all you need is a .458 SOCOM upper, the rounds fit in the standard 5.56 ar mags no mods but a 30 round ar mag holds 10 .458 rounds
