Question Si vs SX

What would happen if a 240 ka24de with a cold air and full cat back stickshift races a stock si?

Lol, stock Miata's are not quick at all(in a straight line)! I think we do a slower 1/4 mile time then 240s! BTW, haven't raced anybody...except for a little fun in the mountains with a WRX...got killed.

Call me insane....but I was thinking of getting a rex one just for the frame....installing a B20 engine from a honda CRV to make it AWD!!!.....muahahaha......AWD Madness!!!....forget that LS Vtec aka Frankenstein conversion.....I wanted to be original!!! make an AWD light weight monster!!! LoL

Well, with all the weight you'll be gaining from the AWD drivetrain, I dunno if it will end up that light.

I thought you meant a RX-7 lol!

I still don't think a Miata will take a CRX, unless its got the stock engine then its a possibilty

I know the drive shaft can be lightened by installing an aluminum drive shaft.....but I dont know if that would be wise...that aluminum pole might end up twisted as a hershey's kisses....hahaha

btw, I did run into a company on the internet selling aluminum drive shafts for the 240's......I just cant remember the site at this time.....
