slow forum..

is it just me, or does this forum seem to load extremely slow at random times... like, especially when I want to find something! lol.. I dunno where or who they host this server on, because i'm too lazy to check.. just wanted to know if it's slow to anyone else.

happens once in awhile for me, but not too often. I mostly blame my connection.

The larger threads (good times, etc.) take longer to load because of the size of the content.

The forum sometimes gives a timeout error because it's overloaded.

In general, the more information, the more strain on the whole forum (database, loading times, etc.)

That's why pointless whoring isn't a good thing because it just clogs the forum with crap.

I'm only typing this out of experience (degree in CNS)... Luckily us mods have delete privileges now.

OMG LOOK OUT!!!!! LOL

hey l2aine if you do this, can you at least send out an e-mail or PM letting us know that you deleted a post? I've had legitimate posts in the past that just "disappeared".
