Angry snapped my arm...

im typing with one hand right now, it was my motocross first race ever and it was at the corcoran sx track, i did great during practice, i cleared all the jumps and did ok around the turns. but when the race started thats when things went bad. at the start i popped a wheely and almost killed my bike. i recooperated and cuaght up to the pack, from here i dont remember what happend, apparently from what my freind tells me i did pretty good and paced a few people but then i fell on a turn, i got up after i lost 2 places back to 5th, i cleared a table top then did a wheely over anther jump and didnt have much control, i thought i could make the next double in second, i was wrong. i under shot the jump and the middle of my bike hit the top of the jump so my suspension didnt take any force of when i crashed so when i hit the top of the landing my left hand snapped on the handle bars. i rolled of the track and i coudnt feel my hand, i looked at it and it was twisted to the rightand dangling from my arm. the x ray shows both the bones 1 inch away from were they are soppose to be connected and an inch to the right. they put me on pain killers, they bolted metal plates on my bones. it hurts like hell...

you can drive stick with a cast... as long as it isnt one past your elbow, kinda push the shifter... no high speed, quick shifting though. I've broken both my arms now, it sucks, but its not that bad.

that really sucks man. props to you for having the ***** to enter a motocross race though. I've ridden bikes and had some encounters in cars too that were a little too close for comfort, but I think i'll always stay away from dirtbikes... i've heard just one too many stories about injuries incurred while riding 'em... doc tell 'ya how long until it all heals up?

Good luck with the recovery. I'll borrow your car while you can't drive it.
