Alright, I kept you in suspense long enough, but I did want to wash her and clean her up so I can do a little before and after type deal . . .it’s a little rough right now, a few dings and dents, but nothing major and nothing that can’t be replaced in my driveway.
So . . .here we go . . .the Cashmere Beige 540i very nice
A few pictures of her and her older sister…
Yes yes . . .tight like a tiger . . .I love it . . .I love it . . .she’s such a beaut . . .here’s a few more shots of her while she’s dirty…
Alright, and for the dirty *** interior…
And for those who like to see it . . .under the hood . . .I had to hold it up because the hood struts are toast, so I’m kinda close and had to use the 24mm setting…
I pulled the chrome kidney off to show the pushed in grill a little better . . .
I can only imagine what in the hell did that, but . . .it’ll be replaced before next weekend hopefully . . .
That was her dirty, here’s after a good scrubbing, cleaning, vacuuming and wheel washing . . .those beasts were DIRTY
Yeah I know, my camera has a dirty sensor, I have to take it to Wolf Camera and let them clean it out, or I might just send it to Nikon, I just don’t know if I’ll have it back in time for the meeting on the 15th if I do that.
I’ll shut up now . . .more pictures. . .
Had to keep showing the two sisters together, they really do look happy as a family . . .oh . . .right . . .less talkie more pickies
One under the hood after a degreasing and wipe down . . .oh yeah, the filter was BAD, so just threw that on there for now
Here’s some of the cool crap it came with, the owners manual, the original dealer window sticker, some other manuals for the radio and trash, safety tips (I guess they feel they HAVE to), a cool audio tape that I have yet to listen to and some other stuff . .
Might as well tour the others . . .here’s the other daily driver, red 2001 Cavalier 5spd . . .the workhorse is what I call her, she’ll start . . .even when you don’t want her to . . . Lucky (my puppy) likes the 540,
And here’s the parental car . . .my dad loves his Pontiacs, but I’ve convinced him to trade her in for a 7 series . . .we’ll see how that goes. . .
Welp . . .there she is . . .let me know what you think, I really had a blast washing her, and it also let me know what items have to be replaced . . .time to go pillage the OTHER 95 540i for parts, such as hood, grille, bumper and other stuff . . .
Later guys,
-Stig

Do you not like the 3 series? I really like my brother's 86 325e i believe is what it is. Though 5 series are very cool looking as well and much better interior's comfort wise.

My first car was an E30 (3 series) I love em, but I'll never pass the opportunity for a more comfortable and faster car. The 540 is substantially faster than the 325e, but it's BMW speak so none of that probably means anything to you at all. The E30's will out handle a 5 series, but that's purely because of physics. However, the M5 vs the M3 (E30 vs E34) the 5 would probably outshine the E30 around the track.
Not saying that the E34 is better than the E30 (because I love both chassis equally) but I am saying that if I had to choose, I'd hop on the E34.
E30's RULE THOUGH!
LOL!
