Stig's Goin Crazy On The Miata: Modifying Like a Mad Man!!!
wow wow wow. new game plan
sell miata
buy beater pickup truck that can tow your s2k.
buy trailer
tow s2k all over east coast to go racing.
all you need to track the s2k is the following:
track pads
track tires/rims
helmet
done done and done.

Nah, the Miata's going to be the track car, LOL! If I were looking to REPLACE the Miata, an M3 would probably be the only way, seeing as how it'd show an S2000 and Miata the way around a track, LOL!
Speaking of which, it's already starting. . . my Bimmer buddies are Bashing Honda without really even looking at the performance of one of these cars.
LOL! I understand brand loyalty, but Brand Bashing is getting out of control.
Oh well . . .we'll see . . .me = sleepy!

i know it's narrow minded but i can't get myself to admit that some hondas are more than just mechanically sound fuel efficient cars. it's the honda owners that give these cars a bad rep.
with that said i'd just like to add that i'll stick with nissan.

LMAO!
Sarcasm . . .I hate you!
HAHAHAHAHA!
You're still the coolest though!
I drove that S2k, and was utterly blown away, I will say that the E36 M3 would definitely tear that car a new one! But, it can't put the top down, LOL!

ah ok well.... you cant compare different classes and the m3 is more then double the price of a s2k (both new)
the s2k is the best in its class but not the best in its price range imo (again new)
the s2k is the best in its class but not the best in its price range imo (again new)
m3 is great but it's nothing without it's computer yoyo ma controls.
3300 lbs = m3
2700 lbs = s2k
what's that? like racing with 2 refrigerators on your car?
m3 new = 50k?
s2k new = 30K max?!
it sure as hell better beat an s2k.
nsx vs m3
no comparison. m3 would have 2 left feet.
damn i swore i'd stop bench racing this year.

You guys are going to make me seem defensive, and that's not what I'm trying to be at all, but I give credit where credit is due.
A 1998 M3 would spank the DOORS off of a 200x S2000
The E36 (insert model here) didn't have any computer aided controls, that would only be in the 5 and seven series. Comparitively the E36 M3 is heavier but a lot torquier, enough to make up the difference when you factor in it's suspension and chassis dynamics when cycling around the track.
I never said I would get a new M3, if anything, I would only be interested in an E36 M3. They never had the driving aids that people speak of and are SO unbelievably fast that even the S2000 would have to step to the right on a track.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
With all that out of the way, I'm not getting an S2000 because I expected to be a beast on the track, I'm getting it because it's going to be a fun daily driver with enough room for me to play around if I feel childish.
