I don't think it will be though. I'm still leaning towards the godzilla thing.

 

Go go Power Rangers, the first rangers are still the best! Kimberly had a nice @$$...yea I was a kid watching that show and I still noticed that tee-hee!

I kinda doubt it would be the power rangers for two reasons:
1) they would earn more money marketing to a younger audience (aren't there still power rangers spinoffs on tv?), and its PG-13 I believe.
2) Once word gets out on the 18th, if it actually is Power Rangers, I would bet ticket sales drop shortly thereafter.

But, since the guy did work on "Lost", I suppose he has had a lot of experience in making uninteresting things seem better than they really are...
And, from what I've read, he also produced "Joy Ride", which was the second worst scary movie I've seen in theaters (first place goes to "Cabin Fever").

Personally, if I actually go to a midnight showing of Power Rangers next Friday, I will seriously consider picketing outside of theaters all weekend to warn good people of such a terrible injustice!

i doubt it's a power ranger movie too. there is a scene where you only see the shadow of a person but it looks like he/she is getting torn apart. the preview seems to dark and sinister to be a power ranger movie.

 

It is something that looks like a crab and has many legs. If you look at the GIF closely it is "scuttling" side to side, not walking forward. That is just the side of it I think. This is somehow tied into the movie though.

Saw the movie today at 12:01 am. Eh. It was ok. Everybody's guesses on what the monster is were WAYYYY off too. The entire movie was just the tape from the DV camera, they didnt tie any loose ends whatsoever.

Okay, the monster is like 20 stories tall in height. It has two very thick legs and two more sets of what are either smaller legs or arms. It's tail is really long and has like 8 "whips" on the end. It's face and body dont look like any animal on earth, so everybody's specualtions were wrong. It is definately not a whale or a whale/octopus hybrid, nor is it a crab like creature. It has a very tall face with a huge mouth in the middle. It's body actually reminds me of like a very mutilated T-rex.
