craftsmen tools are good for around the house type woke but i wouldn't use them in a shop. snap on a mac don't break they explode, true story.

Biggamehit 02-28-2009 11:03 PM

anyone here ever been punched in the face with a 19mm socket, i have hahah it stings the nostrils

jramosthe1st! 02-28-2009 11:16 PM

no but i have punched the engine by having a bolt break. there's nothing like blood and oil running through your fingers.

I hit myself in the face with a half inch breaker bar with an impact socket on it. I had a cracked eye socket from that one and I bled everywhere and had a black eye. Stupid RX-7!!

i got socked right in my piercing one time while installing speakers in my door. that wasnt fun

battosaii930 03-01-2009 03:21 PM

worst for me was getting hit in the face with a long 17mm wrench lol

also craftsman is good **** i use it at the shop my snapon tools fail alot more then my craftsman.

my 1/2" impact gun is the best i got a mac gun that quiet and it has amazing power. guys at the shop have loud ass guns yet they have to use my gun somtimes to break loose some bolts its like their guns are singlecame civics with ricy exhaust and my gun is a twin-turbo v-12 bently quiet yet powerful. best $280 i ever spent

Die Trying 03-01-2009 03:31 PM

nice discription. i know what gun your talking about. it does pack quite a punch and is very quiet. i didnt like the snapon guy who came by the shop so i didnt bother buying from him.
what kind of work do you do?

hatrick6 03-01-2009 03:50 PM

definitely husky for all the wrenches/sockets/screwdrivers, and dewalt for all the power tools, dewalt wayyy outlasts anything else.

Ryobi and Skil are trash.
Dewalt, Milwaukee, Makita, Snap on, Blue-Point, Mac are all good tools.
