please define the word "RICE". as in, "RICE-ROCKET" or "RICE-BURNER"

when i say "rice", i'm referring to a car equipped with mostly body mods, non-functional wings/spoilers, "performance" mufflers, aftermarket emblems, fancy shifter *****, you get the point.

i just wanna see what other people think.

 

whats wrong with body mods and show stuff.......i dont have show stuff only and i dont think its rice if u have performance and show..........whats wrong with wanting to look good...................

like people that dont do anything to their old skool civic except washer nozel lights, altezzas, and a big-*** fart can............i hate that ****...............

 

i think we in the nissan world use the term "rice" too loosley
in my bro-fessional opnion it think rice is more of a state of mind for alotta car owners.
they "think" because the body kit, fart-can, washer nozzles,sh!tty painted interiors, fake euro antennas, cool graphix, terminator wings their car is fast.
so they are the true ricers......
but if you have a car that has interior and exterior mods and performance adders, don't think you are F&F then you are aight.

"rice" depends on the state of mind of the person looking at something.

When I look at a crappy shogun erebuni body kit, I think rice.

When I look at a poorly assembled "custom" exhaust on a Geo Metro with an N1 hayame can, I think rice.

When I see 19s on a dodge stratus with tints and a GTR wing and a big fat racing stripe down the middle, I think rice.

When I look at my car in the driveway and see an S13 with test-pipe and N1 dual, dropped on some no-name JDM coilovers with P1s up front and SSR mesh in back, and see all the scrapes in the driveway cuz my damn exhaust is dragging on the ground I think "good lord I'm a riceboy."

 

i just look at my car and shake my head
then i look at the front clip, lsd, N1, and other goodies and go

 

 

HUH...RICE....I THINK RICE WHEN AN OLD SCHOOL LUDA OR CIVIC PULLS UP TO ME AND REVS...I THINK RICE WHEN THE GUY IN THE 91' TOYOTA TRUCK WITH A 4" CAN PULLS UP.....I THINK RICE WHEN I LIFT THE LID ON THE POT AND SEE RICE.....RICE IS A UNIVERSAL TERM....BEFORE I MOVED OUT OF MY PARENTS HOUSE BACK WHEN I WAS 16 AND I WENT TO CAR SHOWS AND WOULD ONLY TAKE PICS OF IMPORTS..MY DAD WOULD ASK WHY I LIKE RICE BURNERS...HE LIKED TO GET THE WEED EATER OUT AND COMPARE IT TO THE SOUND OF MY EXHAUST....THATS WHEN I THINK RICE...BUT WHEN I WALK OUT AND LOOK AT MY CAR I THINK OF ALL THE HARD WORK AND MONEY I PUT INTO IT AND HOW FAR FETCHED IT IS FROM "RICE".....
