I bought a beater today... an '87 Celica ST. I know, I know.. its FWD. But hey, this gives me more time to spend making my 240 the baddest thing on the loacl streets. Pics later. Oh, I also got it for $400. Runs, drives, has A/C, straight body, and a standard tranny. w00t.

are you kidding, i was about to get one of my own. too bad some beat me to it. right now i'm trying to get my hands on a '96-'98 maxima though.

 

I've been told it's quite a lot of fun having a car that you don't really care about and thrashing it around. I just wish there was a car market up in Canada for cheap gems like that. Great White Northerners like me are ripped off on everything automotive

a friend of mine (before we became friends) would say, "you're the guy with the probe right". he'd do it intentionally though because he knew i hate fords.

 

Yeah dude, so what? I drive a Cavalier. Guess how many times I have driven the 240 in the past week. Zero. Broken exhaust. Having another car lets me take my time on the 240.
