This guy is selling clips and swaps with no idea of what is involved. Check out http://240Skyline.nissanpower.com do a little bit of research online or at 240SXforums.com under the RB section where I post most often.

The RB is a simple swap, about the same as the SR. Unlike your friend Chris here, I actually know about them and what it takes to put one in a 240SX...why? Because I have done it....that's my site listed above and my car. If you want to know about it, talk to me, I can tell you all you need to know, or check out my FAQ on my site.

A clip is a whole front end of a car....just as you said. They can be depleted of their contents and have their contents (engine, tranny ecu etc....) placed into other cars, like the 240SX.

If you were to buy a clip, you would not need to buy or make custom mounts. I would give you all of the information about the swap and wiring.

i considered doing a rotary conversion at one point in time... then everyone who actually owned a rotary powered car kept telling me ... "oh its such a hassle to maintain, don't get one" and stuff like that... not to mention the 240sx is alot heavy than the rx7 so it weight to power ratio wouldn't balence out well...

They weigh about the same, but on average 240's are lighter.

It's difficulty level is 1 point above the SR, so whatever you class the SR at, just add a point. This is just due to having to shave a section of iron off the O2 housing and getting a new driveline or custom one built etc....not much to the actual swap itself. Email or call me with any questions.
