Talking fs: jim wolf ecu

i have a jim wolf reprogrammed ecu and marked as for 95 MT and it is possible to hook up to 91-94 since the ecu is for OBD1 equipped cars but due to lack of funds i must sell this asap. i wanna get 300 or best reasonable offer, this unit functioned perfectly when removed from car, i live in virginia email me at jclafon@roanoke.edu if you have any questions, don't miss this retail is 600 plus 500 core charge. thanks and hopefully this will cover the cost of parts to fix my 240

according to jim wolf heres what it exactly does:

Jim Wolf Technology ECU modifies

Fuel and spark maps for optimal performance

Removes the MPH top-speed-limit fuel cut function

Raises the stock rev limit

Significantly improves transient throttle response

Leans out the A/F ratio at WOT for optimal performance

Compensates for larger fuel injectors across the entire operating range

I'm very interested in the ECU, do you have a better picture of the tag, or does it say what you've typed above?

I also sent you an email.

the only thing that the tag says is
jim wolf technology
p.o.p upgrade package
95 240sx mt
e2405-nmu00

this stuff bout it bein illegal in ca since they enforce smog strictly but its legal everywhere else

also i know it is OBD1 but i can't find where i found it at but the info i had replied earlier is from another site since jim wolf's site does't offer much info, but there is a nissan only tuning shop where i live that says it is possible to plug into the 91-94s but i dunno how but i am sure u could email jim wolf or search here or ********** for info

Hey, I definitely want this. I sent you an offer, if it's not reasonable, let me know.

okay, I got this ecu and installed it in the car. It does run fine, but the engine does not shut off when the key is removed. I have tested two other ECU's to confirm that it is the ECU and not the car.

I have also tried to contact Cheap240 with no response, and will most likely be sending this to JWT for repair which is going to end up costing as much as a new one.

Future Buyer's beware.

My car is a '95, so whether it will work with a 91-94 is a moot point to me.

o hmm well i just got off the phone with him and he gave me 2 things for you to check, 1st is take off the alternator while its off and try to start/off then, next get a voltmeter and check to see if there are 2 hot wires to the ecu while the car is off, i will call him back later if this doesn't help
