are the solobarics still for sale? If so, how good are they as far as cosmetically and acoustically?

they are great man, they hit very clean and smooth. depending on crossover they can be used for mid bass or low bass. they are still in perfect condition. basically just broke in. you will need a decent amp to push them for them to sounds and perform the way they need to. they are very strong and can handle quite a bit of power. the surround is made of rubber not foam and it is stitched not glued so they are going to blow.

anyway let me know if your interested. I can try and shoot you an email with a pic. give me your email address through pm and we can talk..

but it's first come first serve. money talks

So how many watts of rms power do you need to run these? Im not looking to rattle the whole car apart, my 240 is a fastback so i dont need it to rock the house. Would you think 200w rms be sufficient to get sound?

nope.. u might get a bump or 2... u need a 1000watt amp or better.. his current amp is 3,200 watts broken up into 4 channels of 800watts.. im pretty sure he has 1600 in each speaker if he bridged it

na, I on'y had like 600 going to each of them they hit hard but very clean. as long as you have the right box for them. the box in the picture was perfect. also remember the amp I had ran everything. interior mdquarts speakers and the subs. the amp I had for my set up was perfect. you will be satisfied believe me. I was just with 10"s. any bigger and then things start to rattle to much.

Im not looking for ground pounding bass either, remember that. So i dont think it will need 1000 watts... especially since my 240 is a fastback, which means its like having the subs in the back seat.

hey thats no problem... the l7's would be better off with someone who will use them to their full potential... With my ground wire problem (cuz i havent had time to replace the wires), ive gotten to like SQ over heavy bass. Of course, no system is complete without subs, its just that sometimes you forget what really matters about music... anyways, L7's are too beefy for my application anyway.
