MacPhearson is the type NOT the name.
Earl S. MacPherson designed the strut & it has been in use since the 1940's. They can be made in Japan, spain, mexico, ect...

THOSE perticular type of struts are made by Gabriel & are the VST or Velocity Sensitive Technology struts.
You can get them at Meineke, PepBoys, ect...
