bullhead, I think you should get a second opinion, cause as far as I have seen all over this and every other board, the 89-90 style (with the 2 slots being divided, making it look like nostrils) is being called the pignose style. Maybe you missread something or got confused along the way, but I think you should check it out quick so you know.
or maybe we are all wrong and you will find an example of it to shove in our faces, who knows, just thought I would let you know to look it up.

hahahahahahahahahah........pignose is the 89-90 also zenki the 91-94 is the kouki or the front bumper evryone wants because that is what came in japan on the 180sx!!!hahahahahahahah
