Test Pipes

i'm making 2,3/4 inch test pipes out of aluminized steel then paint flat black so it wont rust. these test pipes are for s13 and replace the catiletic converter. these are desighned ofr off road use and you can expect to see any where from about 5-15 horse power. more if you've got a turbo and or other mods. i can ship these any where in the continental U.S. for 90 dollers.
thanks please email me if interested.

90 bux is a good price. 75-115 is the price range. or make it yourself.

um... it's called "stainless steel" for a reason besides polished or painted - it's under the car anyways

its not stainless steel any more aroud the welds because the zinc coating is burned off so it will rust and if you cut the flanges off your cat to make a test pipe if you half to get emissions checked your screwed.

Galvanized is zinc coated, stainless is an alloy. What rusts is the weld itself, but only if the welder was cheap (REALLY cheap. Or lazy, since stainless welding rod isn't the easiest stuff to work with) and didn't bother using stainless welding rod.

and I still think $90 is high compared to buying an Ebay one for $30 and painting it with a $3 can of paint to keep it from rusting (if rust is even a problem in your area)

ROFL as if that has anything to do with what we're talking about besides the fact that $90 is too high for a piece of stainless steel piping with two flanges.

My brother has an Ebay straight pipe on his car and there's no signs of rusting, and he parks outside at night through summer and winter...

... and it's been on the car for 2 years now.

For $5 flanges and a small length of pipe. Damn thats like $15 to make. Lower the price to $40 and you might make some $. Wouldn't the paint just burn off too?
